The Cobot Drill Bundle combines our flagship Carbon Fibre Adapter, the Bosch GSR 185-LI Professional, and our signature Linear Trigger Actuator into one ready-to-run package.

1. The Control: “Mechanical Finger” Technology

We don’t ask you to hack the tool’s electronics.

  • The Actuator: We mount a compact, industrial-grade Linear Electric Actuator directly to the chassis.

  • How it Works: When your robot sends a “HIGH” signal, the actuator extends and physically pushes the drill trigger. When the signal stops, it retracts.

  • No Soldering: The drill remains 100% stock. You can unclasp it and use it by hand anytime.

2. Dual Control Modes (Included)

Every kit includes our Control Hub, giving you two ways to operate the tool:

  • Automatic Mode (Robot I/O): Connect the 2-wire leads directly to your Cobot’s Digital Output (24V). Ideal for full production cycles.

  • Manual Mode (Wireless Remote): Use the included Wireless Keyfob to trigger the drill manually. This is essential for teaching waypoints or testing drilling depth safely without running the robot program.

3. The Drill: Bosch GSR 185-LI Professional

We chose this specific model because it is the perfect match for robotic automation:

  • Perfect Fit: The cylindrical 43mm collar clamps securely with zero wiggle.

  • Compact: At only 162mm long, it fits in tight spaces inside CNC machines.

  • Metal Chuck: Heavy-duty grip prevents drill bits from slipping under load.

4. The Adapter: Industrial Rigidity

  • Weight: The total setup (Drill + Adapter + Actuator) is under 1.6kg, leaving plenty of payload for your UR3e, TM5, or Omron cobot.
